During this phase of target training, you won't offer any verbal cues and you'll only offer treats periodically, rather than every time your pup presses a touchpad. By withholding rewards for a bit and phasing out verbal cues altogether, your dog will be encouraged to explore the Hub more intently. This will also encourage your dog to try out new behaviors, such as using a paw instead of their nose, or pressing different touchpads rather than sticking to the same one. Soon, you'll be ready to turn on the Hub and watch your dog play all on their own!
