Once your dog is comfortable around the Hub, and curious about how to make food come out of it, your dog will begin to learn that the touchpads are meaningful, and that interacting with them means rewards come from the Hub! This is not intuitive, and takes some time to learn.

Learning to touch the touchpads is a trial and error exploration phase. Scratching, digging, and exploring the Hub will become more targeted over time until your pup realizes that the touchpads are meaningful. During this stage, it can be helpful to direct your pup's attention to the front of the Hub where the touchpads are, but don't force their paw, nose, or chin onto a touchpad!
